Background

I currently manage IT for a large multi-location organization, where I own mobile device management, networking, surveillance systems, and device lifecycle programs day to day. That work spans hundreds of locations and thousands of devices — not a theoretical fleet, but one I'm actively responsible for keeping deployed, secure, and supported.

Alongside that role, I own and operate Buy Back Pros, a nationwide electronics buyback business serving both consumers and businesses across the USA. Running that business gives me a practical, ground-level view of what actually happens to hardware after it's retired — which shapes how I think about device lifecycle planning for consulting clients.

Areas of expertise

• Mobile Device Management: Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch) — deployment, policy design, and ongoing fleet management
• ITAD & Lifecycle Management: End-of-life asset planning, secure data wipe and audit, device resale and recovery
• Networking & Surveillance: Design and support for business networking and camera/surveillance systems, including on-site builds under real time and space constraints
• Digital Transformation: Moving multi-location, associate-facing workflows from paper to tablet-based digital tools

Representative results

• Led an MDM platform migration of 4,800+ tablets across 100 hospitality locations, completed in under five months
• Built and ran a temporary on-site network supporting 250 point-of-sale devices inside a closing sports arena with no existing connectivity
• Own and operate a nationwide electronics buyback business (Buy Back Pros)
